meaningless slogan was set up in October 2007
in an attempt to bridge the North-South divide and provide ethical employment
opportunities for the more deprived areas of Camden Lock. The meaningless
apparel is produced in South London by artisany types who sit on the floor
a lot and drink beer while the sales arm sits at a proper table in North London
sipping organic, fair-trade wine and worrying about the lack of pertinent
slogans in the upper apparel market.
Our soft organic cotton t-shirts are hand-riveted before the most supple and
meaningless slogan in the finest and completely
washable vinyl is applied by hand.
Our fresh and fruity bamboo t-shirts are not riveted due to the delicacy
of the fabric, but our fine range of aprons and jackets receives the full
meaningless treatment.
It is a distressing fact of life that most t-shirts (and indeed aprons) with
so-called meaningful slogans most often end up meaning very little at all.
meaningless slogan simply dispenses with meaning
from the start and produces entirely meaningless slogans in a plethora of
languages.
